Copper7 is activated on the existing copper lines. Depending on whether fibre-to-the-street (FTTS) is available at your location, higher or lower speeds are possible.
With FTTS, the network is already extended to the front of the building with fibre optics. Only the in-house cabling ("last mile") is still based on copper wires. In these cases, up to 500 Mbit/sec are possible with Copper7. In all other cases, the speed reaches up to 120 Mbit/sec.
