For Fiber7 25 Gbit/s, your router must meet the following requirements:
- 25 Gbit WAN port
- DHCP
- Fibre port
For Fiber7 10 Gbit/s, your router must meet the following requirements:
- 10 Gbit WAN port
- DHCP
- Fibre port
For Fiber7, your router must meet the following requirements:
- 1 Gbit WAN port
- DHCP
- Fibre port
If you have a router with a gigabit-capable WAN port but no fibre optic port, you can purchase a converter from us and connect it to your existing device.
The optics (SFP receiver) of the router must support the following wavelengths: 10 km/TX1310/RX1490-1550 nm)
Please note that there are different fibre patch cables that are cut differently (depending on the router):
- Simplex single-mode cable as patch cable LC/PC to LC/APC, compatible with conventional SFP optics.
- Simplex single-mode cable as patch cable SC to LC/APC, compatible with FRITZ!Box 5490
